PRAY- the best way to HELP LISA FIGHT is PRAY

Psalm 30:2

O LORD my God, I called to you for help and you healed me.



We are asking you to pray for Lisa, lift her up to our GOD so that He will hear His people ask for her healing. God's will is divine and we pray for His peace over Lisa and her family.

August 31, 2010--Tuesday

This morning, Lisa had 4 L of fluid drained from her abdomen.  She also had a port put in, and that was a successful procedure.  She is going to start the aggressive chemo tomorrow.  Please pray for strength, courage, and comfort as she begins this treatment.  Lisa is very brave and very inspiring.  She is just ready to fight and BEAT this cancer.  Thank you for your continued prayers.

    I wanted to let you know that Beth (one of your mom's co-workers and close friend!) made some ribbons and we have been wearing them here! This is to show our support and unity in this with you!     I so appreciate this blog that Renee has set up. I am an old friend and have been praying and thinking of Lisa almost hourly it seems. I have worked as a registered nurse delivering Chemo to patients in the past and feel like I have a slight idea of what Lisa is being exposed to,have no idea how hard this must be for her. She is such a kind, person dealing with a difficult disease and the effect it can take on family and friends. I have been wanting to plan a visit to see her, but wanting to wait to see how she is tolerating treatment. Thanks for keeping everyone posted. She is loved by many!!!
