We have raised $5,000 for Lisa's Disney Trip with her family!  Thanks to all those who helped make this dream a reality!  Lisa looks fantastic and is feeling good; she is ready for Disney!

Tuesday, Jan. 25

Lisa is feeling great!  She is out and about, doing things that are "normal" again.  Lisa and her family are looking forward to their trip to Disney next week.  They were able to get FREE passes to Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and Island of Adventure through a program Disney offers (and Jan. is the last month for this) called Compassion Partners/Adult Wishes.  This was truly a blessing from God, as we all know how proud Disney is of their parks:)
Lisa is scheduled to start round 9 of chemo on Feb. 7th.  She is counting down the rounds, looking forward to completing the 12th one!!
Thank you again to everyone for their love and support.  Lisa is winning the battle!

Jan. 13 (Thurs)

Lisa has finished round 8 and is waiting to be released.  She has a headache and fever, so they are keeping her until this is under control.  Good news.....Her CA 19-9 number is 89!!!  (norm is between 0-37).  It keeps going down, and that's they way we like it:)  What a HUGE drop from 16,000!!!  Please pray for NO pain for Lisa as she continues to recover from this round of chemo. 

Monday, JANUARY 10

Lisa checked in today for round 8.  She will be in the hospital until Thursday.  She had some really great days after round 7.  She was able to get out and about on a regular basis. Lisa and Steve even joined us in KC for New Year's Eve....of course it was very low key, but she was able to make the 2 1/2 hour trip up here. (and she even managed to stay up until 11)  She is doing great, and is looking forward to a smooth round of chemo.  Please pray for her to have comfort and ease with this one.
